hello everyone Karen glass you're here
0:03
and welcome to this episode of The
0:05
Passion point this is the show where we
0:07
follow passion East is from all around
0:09
the world who are following their
0:11
passion making a living doing what they
0:13
love and today we have a very special
0:15
guest her name is Cindy Mathis arrow
0:17
she's a motivational speaker renowned
0:19
vibrational energy and intuitive healer
0:22
a Reiki Master Teacher and powerful
0:25
beyond measure life coach she believes
0:28
that each of us can manifest the life
0:30
that we want to live one that is
0:32
powerful beyond measure so I am very
0:35
happy to welcome Cindy to our show good
0:37
morning how are you today Cindy hello
0:39
Karen I'm Wow and thank you for having
0:42
me on your show I am so happy that
0:44
you're here we had a little bit of
0:45
technical difficulties getting into this
0:47
place but I am happy that we feared it
0:49
all out now you know the show is called
0:51
the passion point and one of the first
0:53
things that I like to do is give a
0:55
definition of passion according to
0:57
Webster's dictionary and then I'm going
0:58
to ask you what your definition is so
1:01
Webster's dictionary says that passion
1:03
is an intense driving or overmastering
1:07
feeling or conviction what do you say
1:10
Cindy what's passion to you passion to
1:14
me is really doing things that make you
1:17
feel alive that really resonates with
1:20
joy and having an impact on other
1:23
people's life in the world that's a
1:26
great great definition I mean I think we
1:28
all do want to have an impact not just
1:29
on our own life but on the lives of of
1:31
many that we come across during our
1:34
journey so let's talk about you because
1:37
this show is about your journey how did
1:39
you get to where you are today you can
1:42
go back as far as you want but how did
1:43
you get to be doing what you're
1:45
passionate about what you're doing today
1:47
well right now what I'm so passionate
1:50
about is actually empowering others to
1:52
find their passion to heal their pain
1:56
forget the self limiting doubts that we
1:59
have in our life sets continues to
2:01
impact us and it does until we choose to
2:04
make a conscious effort to change that
2:06
and part of my journey has actually
2:09
learned to become happy with myself I
2:12
had
2:14
parents that was divorced at a very
2:15
young age I looked for male confirmation
2:18
affirmation and I struggled with a lot
2:21
of that trying to find what um that no
2:25
matter how much I was getting from the
2:26
outside in I was still looking for more
2:29
and more and what I realized was that
2:31
you need to learn to love yourself we're
2:34
perfect even with our imperfection and
2:36
that we can actually ignite and to
2:39
foster our own unique gifts within
2:42
ourselves some are great teachers some
2:44
are great musicians we have all
2:47
different passions and gets within
2:48
ourselves and we need to nurture them
2:50
and bring them out to the world so how
2:53
did you get those to be coming into
2:55
doing what you're doing right now I mean
2:56
did you just wake up you know two years
2:58
ago 10 years ago and say this is what
3:00
I'm going to do what were some of the
3:02
things that you did along the way to
3:03
bring you to where you are today great
3:06
question I was assisted I am a physical
3:08
therapist I'm retired now but I've been
3:10
teaching people all my life I've been
3:12
teaching them in rehabilitation and then
3:15
I also own my own company went into
3:17
companies and actually get economics
3:19
which is a fancy word for stress
3:22
reduction and educating them on
3:24
prevention and treatment and redesigning
3:27
workspace so my whole life I've really
3:30
been a teacher and inspired her it's
3:32
really not a word but I love to inspire
3:33
people to take ownership in their own
3:36
happiness and health and along this
3:39
process I started to find really direct
3:43
connections between what we are
3:46
experiencing physically you know I have
3:48
a shoulder pain or have a hip pain as to
3:51
what also go on emotionally in our life
3:53
and our obstacles that we're facing so
3:56
for example someone that might be having
3:58
shoulder comes could be chronic or cute
4:01
it could be because they're taking on a
4:05
lot of weight carrying things on their
4:07
shoulders that often are not their own
4:09
problems so they're dealing with their
4:11
elderly parents or they're dealing with
4:13
their children even though their
4:14
children I've run into college and
4:17
moving on but they still take on their
4:19
own problems and so what happens is
4:22
you're carrying the weight of the world
4:23
on your shoulders and eventually you're
4:26
impacting that energy
4:27
in yourself and it comes out in a
4:29
physical way that's fascinating that is
4:31
fascinating cuz i actually just felt
4:32
that as you were saying that the world
4:34
on our shoulders and then maybe we
4:35
actually feel it in our shoulders you
4:38
talk about the power within so what is
4:40
that exactly what is power with it it's
4:44
really what I'm so passionate about
4:46
because to me we are all extensions of a
4:49
universal higher energy if you believe
4:52
in God the Creator whatever the word
4:56
that you define that source to be we are
4:59
a little Stardust of that greater whole
5:01
and so it's the greater creative creates
5:05
everything the earth those beautiful
5:07
trees the mountains and you you are
5:09
supremely wonderful in your own being
5:12
and that's with our errors our
5:15
weaknesses our shortcomings and that I
5:19
really believe that we're incarnated or
5:21
birth into this physical place to learn
5:24
and grow as a spirit as a soul and so
5:27
our skin our clothes are really just an
5:29
outer facade of what we're wearing so
5:32
that we can walk on this gravity said
5:35
earth and stay grounds with the earth
5:38
but we're really are a soul and we
5:41
actually are here to learn and grow
5:42
spiritually and to fulfill our lessons
5:46
and also to use those gifts we talked
5:48
about earlier and ignite into those
5:51
passions and use them that's often I
5:54
know you have a book that's coming out
5:55
powerful beyond measure so can you give
5:58
us like an example like three steps to
6:00
understand and you know how to be
6:02
powerful beyond measure and what that
6:04
actually means sure powerful beyond
6:06
measure is really a process that allows
6:08
you to awaken to your power within and
6:11
to do that you actually have to connect
6:13
the dots from the past so the books
6:15
divided into thirds the past the present
6:17
and the future so by understanding the
6:20
past you wanna stand was limiting belief
6:23
that he is taken on in your past which
6:26
is aligned with your soul lessons what
6:28
you're here to learn and grow from and
6:30
that you have to learn to step into
6:33
those spherical events or those
6:35
obstacles that always seem to be laid in
6:37
front of you and we do that in the
6:39
present moment so
6:41
the Civic serum for example say that
6:44
you're one that always picks
6:45
relationships that are toxic men that
6:48
are dominating you and keeping you small
6:50
so that might be a perpetual repetition
6:53
pattern that you've seen over your ears
6:55
and here you are again lonely wanting a
6:57
man in your life really have struggled
7:00
with your father again can be dominating
7:02
so you want this relationship and so how
7:05
do i create your ability to have a
7:08
relationship this equal respectful
7:10
loving and so what you do is we actually
7:13
go through a process in the present
7:15
moment re of releasing the energy debris
7:19
that stays dormant in your body and see
7:22
what happens is when you're young this
7:24
energy is inside you it stays somewhere
7:27
in your body to be a throw your your
7:30
stomach is the power powers areas
7:33
particularly your solar plexus reason
7:35
that we hold that you might have some
7:36
Acamas herniation things like that so
7:39
when you start to actually eliminate
7:41
that energetic debris disks and within
7:43
you and there's many ways to do in the
7:45
book you actually release that energy so
7:48
there's no longer present in the present
7:50
moment and you learn how strategies and
7:53
practical ways really simple ways to
7:55
actually engage itself in the present
7:57
moment that you start to feel more
7:59
powerful you have this power than
8:01
yourself that a man does not equate how
8:04
I should spend how tall or how small I
8:06
should be I choose to stand and be
8:09
present in the way I want to not so and
8:13
caring the way I want to anyway we
8:15
didn't want you to and when you start to
8:17
resume and vibrate that energy level
8:19
you'll start to be more loving or seen
8:22
yourself more loving and then others
8:23
will see you more loving too so there's
8:26
a matching of energies we've all heard a
8:28
lot of attraction when you have to
8:30
create that inner power that inner
8:31
energy that will be met on your outside
8:34
world and of course when you go into
8:36
future and we just expand on that as
8:38
well so it sounds like the first step
8:40
would be just to figure out what that
8:41
negative energy is right the first step
8:43
and the second step would be to to
8:48
address it to basic you to release it in
8:50
to heal it and to and as many ways to do
8:52
in this you see not just one
8:54
thanks so maybe the first might be in
8:56
that situation would be trust I don't
8:58
trust anyone I don't trust men I don't
9:00
trust women I don't work I don't try to
9:02
have a house so it might be more of a
9:04
trust issue then you have to break down
9:06
why is it if you didn't really trust
9:08
because maybe Trust is taken away we
9:10
you're a child so just because as a
9:12
five-year-old you didn't feel it doesn't
9:14
mean that you as an adult woman who
9:16
works will have his job educated does it
9:19
mean that they can't trust their
9:21
environment so it's learning to really
9:23
trust yourself to find that are within
9:25
you that really makes you powerful
9:27
beyond measure we make ourselves long
9:30
not the person outside of us and when we
9:33
take that ownership caring it allows us
9:36
to be powerful no one creates your power
9:39
caring but yourself right right
9:41
absolutely totally agree with that and
9:43
when a lot of people don't like that
9:45
they'd rather go to the doctor get a
9:46
film to feel healthy and what's amazing
9:49
is that you get to create your own
9:51
health you get to create your energy and
9:52
vivacious system and happiness in life
9:55
and when you take that responsibility on
9:57
your life will change in every way
9:59
awesome well I really like that concept
10:01
of taking responsibility for ourselves I
10:03
mean it you know it's very easy to say
10:04
that if somebody else's fault or that
10:06
somebody else made me do it or is
10:08
happening to me or yyyy when the reality
10:12
is what you're saying it once we start
10:14
taking responsibility for us it's not
10:16
about other people it really is about us
10:18
it's a reflection of more than anything
10:21
else on so what would you tell somebody
10:23
that you meet that it says to you Cindy
10:26
I've lost my passion because you you
10:28
really work in the world with passion
10:30
what would you say to somebody that this
10:31
I've lost my passion all right I don't
10:33
even know what my passion is how am I
10:35
supposed to find my passion at this
10:37
point what do I do next that's a great
10:39
question just ending saying you don't
10:41
have a passage I don't know it is the
10:43
first step because what it also saying
10:45
is that you want a passion you have a
10:48
desire to be interested in something and
10:50
so then I would say so what so what's
10:53
two or three things that makes you come
10:54
alive that makes you feel really special
10:57
or happy or what the last time you felt
11:00
the happiest you have in years and maybe
11:02
it was when you're thinking in or such
11:04
religious choir group or a professional
11:07
corner
11:08
or maybe it was when you're with their
11:10
grandchildren and now they're all grown
11:12
up in your own how your grandchildren
11:14
around it is the chosen that you love or
11:16
to be in part of with the family that
11:18
you want to be so if it just chosen
11:20
maybe you choose to volunteer at school
11:23
so it's really starting to explore have
11:27
fun exploring what makes you feel alive
11:30
what is that you want to do and it could
11:32
be when you're 80 it could be when
11:34
you're 20 gauge is not a determination
11:37
as to when your passion stopped because
11:40
we are all passionate people I mean
11:42
that's what emotions passion interest is
11:46
what makes it come alive and so you
11:48
don't have something and you're afraid
11:50
to do something you're actually causing
11:53
on inner death because you know we're
11:56
not children you know even if 480 where
11:58
it's not that childlike of what we'd
12:01
like to do i was thinking with someone
12:03
just the other day whose daily four
12:04
years older so what would you like to do
12:05
I'd love to go on RT Allah
12:07
archaeological fine I said Bob that's
12:10
wonderful me tail I gotta go with her I
12:13
think well that sounds wonderful because
12:15
yeah but I can't go to all the desert
12:17
countries and is that she was you know
12:19
someone in the group said that one in
12:21
New York and she goes there's other
12:23
places you know wait we limit our
12:25
content filter and we don't need to and
12:28
so I encourage you to probiem spell
12:30
lobster opportunity and ask yourself
12:33
what would make me feel alive what would
12:35
make me feel I'm excited every morning
12:38
to wake up to go do right so I mean
12:41
you've got a book coming up we talked
12:42
about that and you also have I
12:43
understand and internet TV show what's
12:45
the coils and helping people you know
12:47
plug into that well I have a couple
12:50
different shows i'm doing i'm actually
12:51
coming out of one and going into another
12:53
so the UM the shows are not really sure
12:56
it back is the last one I'm going to be
12:58
involved it but you can find that out on
12:59
my website www ms espero calm and I'm on
13:05
facebook the power within CMS acero and
13:08
you'll be fine all those interviews
13:10
there the links and I'd love to have you
13:12
stop by then that'd be great and then we
13:14
have a summit coming up do tell us what
13:17
about that it for my book is called
13:20
powerful beyond measure
13:21
sumit calm and it's free available to
13:25
any of you to participate there's 28
13:27
wonderful fabulous speakers John Gray
13:29
from men are from Mars and women are
13:31
from Venus mercy shine lost every
13:34
continent we talked about everything and
13:36
anything near death experiences dreams
13:38
success failure fear being that divine
13:42
light that we're talking about and also
13:45
what John talks about which is really
13:47
interesting how 21st century we live in
13:50
how women now are really more infused
13:54
with our masculine energies because
13:56
we're tend to work in workforce we have
13:58
to do much more regular scheduled
14:02
activities with their words of masculine
14:04
energy and what that does is it actually
14:06
suppresses our estrogens and
14:08
unfortunately women need estrogen and
14:10
what they're finding is that physically
14:12
we're getting more women are getting
14:15
al-khaimah namenda more women are having
14:17
a heart disease than men and they're
14:19
finding it because it's a hormonal
14:21
imbalance and so as women tend to try to
14:25
balance both spectrums of being the wife
14:27
a mother and often the breadwinner
14:31
sometimes there's a stronger breadwinner
14:33
but we tried to balance everything and
14:35
it really is impacting us on a negative
14:37
way so if you go to the summit you'll
14:39
hear a lot more about that again
14:42
powerful beyond measure summit that I
14:44
calm and our in our viewers I just as
14:46
you as you know all of our interviews if
14:48
you look droid directly below it has a
14:50
link to the summit as a link to the book
14:52
it has all the different ways that you
14:53
can get in touch with Cindy I love
14:57
quotes close their life you know I look
14:59
at them in the morning to see if
15:01
something resonates with me to kind of
15:02
guide me through the day and here's a
15:04
quote I'd like to share with you and it
15:06
is it doesn't even actually have an
15:08
author so obviously Oh actually does
15:10
sorry Travis mckesson he's an
15:12
entrepreneur and web strategist and he
15:14
says purpose may point you in the right
15:17
direction but it's fashion that propels
15:21
you I love that quote because my student
15:24
so it makes me feel like an action it
15:27
you know that this is actually something
15:29
that i can do to push me forward is
15:31
there a favorite quote that you have our
15:33
quotes is something that you
15:34
like to share it's one of my own um and
15:37
it's about passion tips but I love your
15:40
show and I think passion is so important
15:42
and it's um and it fit passion is a
15:45
seedling that is waiting to emerge from
15:48
the depths of your soul and when you
15:51
allow your sailing to birth through to
15:54
Sun your life to have shown your room
15:57
that's beautiful I can actually see a
16:00
picture as you are saying that that's
16:02
that's really beautiful okay so here's a
16:05
question for you and I like to ask my
16:06
guests this if you could spread passion
16:09
dust on anyone anywhere in the world and
16:13
I'm no limitation who or on on whom
16:16
might you spread it and what would you
16:18
hope to accomplish interesting and you
16:22
said only one person it could be more of
16:24
a sapient group it could be one anything
16:27
you want no limitations whatsoever well
16:30
I love the United States so with all our
16:34
unrest and I won't even call political
16:36
and risk of the immediate unrest we have
16:38
Democratic Republican so much unrest and
16:41
cultural i would say i would like to
16:45
sprinkle it amongst all the washington
16:49
DC because there are decision makers for
16:52
them to realize that their job is to
16:55
ignite the country's passion to find
16:58
harmony and balance success and what we
17:04
stand for yeah opportunity freedom
17:07
that's that's that's lovely i like that
17:09
i know you have a free gift for all of
17:11
our listeners what's the gift and i know
17:13
there's going to be sending we're going
17:14
to be sending them over to your website
17:15
but what is the gift what are you
17:16
getting at all right one of the things i
17:18
use in my book is their wonderful a
17:20
hailing hearts failing medication and
17:23
its really integral in the first part of
17:25
the book because it helps you release
17:27
that emotional debris we talked about
17:29
and so it's free for you anytime you can
17:32
just go to this link is www my name's
17:37
empieza for calm forward slash heart
17:42
home of hailing medic
17:46
and it's free forever everything there
17:49
for you and your encourage you to go
17:52
there and listen to the audio it will
17:54
guide you through all the four chambers
17:56
of your heart and with each chamber you
17:58
release more of that emotional degree so
18:00
it's very healing I love that and if you
18:03
weren't sitting there taking notes and
18:04
writing down don't worry about if the
18:06
links directly below that that's great
18:08
thank you so Cindy any last thoughts
18:11
that you really want to share with with
18:12
her audience that you really didn't get
18:14
a chance to touch upon I want to make
18:16
sure that we get the real you in front
18:19
of our audience I think what I would
18:22
like to encourage everyone no matter how
18:24
you're feeling today even if you say
18:25
you're okay and you're happy there's
18:27
