In this episode of "The Taste," @Official Rob Glasser and I explore Wendy's fast food restaurant and sample various items from the menu. We discuss whether fast food chains like Wendy's are trying to compete in areas that are not their specialty, such as salads.
We try the apple pecan chicken salad, which has the most calories, fat, and sodium and the baked potato, which was dry and lacking in flavor. However, we were pleasantly surprised by Wendy's famous chili. The chili has 240 calories, 11 grams of fat, and 930 milligrams of sodium, making it a good meal option.
Last but not least we tasted Wendy's iconic frosty, which is sinfully good but also high in calories, with 470 calories and 12 grams of fat.
