0:52
of sad too this is the last of a series
0:55
for for once upon a yoga time but we
0:57
have had so much fun with you and so
0:59
we're gonna make sure that this is a
1:01
great show today as it always is so
1:03
everyone
1:04
get comfortable with whoever you came
1:06
with your mom your dad your brother your
1:08
sister because it's
1:09
yoga time are you rather ready ready
1:14
i'm header ready here we go
1:18
tongue twisters yeah that's dr seuss
1:21
well everybody here we are in our
1:25
final presentation of keto kids yoga
1:27
together
1:28
with karen's once upon a story time
1:31
and once upon a yoga time and i'm just
1:34
so
1:34
so so happy to be here with you and i
1:36
thought we could start today
1:39
with a deep breath in
1:42
so it would feel so fresh in your body
1:44
so if you feel kind of tired
1:47
or if you feel like sad or mad or
1:51
anything that you don't want i want you
1:53
to
1:54
breathe in and think about it and i want
1:56
you to blow it out okay
1:58
so we're gonna do it together so we're
2:00
gonna breathe in and think about all
2:01
those things that you don't like
2:05
see the face yeah show me the face now
2:08
we're going to blow them out ready
2:11
and the wind came and the wind blew in
2:14
my hair
2:16
and the wind blew all of the bad
2:18
feelings
2:19
away you feel better excellent well
2:23
today
2:23
i have the very last part of this really
2:26
fun little story time so
2:28
this is the coloring page which karen
2:30
will show you in a minute
2:32
and we're going to take an adventure all
2:35
the way back
2:37
to nana's home you might remember from
2:39
the other classes that
2:41
nana the monkey with look who looks like
2:44
this
2:45
show me your monkey
2:48
yeah good monkeys everybody nana the
2:51
monkey has a friend and the friend's
2:54
name is sarita the snake
2:55
and we're going to show sarita like this
2:59
and there was a lot of other friends in
3:01
the story
3:02
you can find the whole story over at
3:04
keto kids yoga
3:05
website right we'll talk more about that
3:08
in a minute
3:09
but first what we're going to do is what
3:11
we always do
3:13
we start our class with the high energy
3:16
so now that we've pushed away all of our
3:18
bad feelings
3:19
we're going to start with a big energy
3:21
and i'm going to let you guys decide
3:23
what animal you want to be
3:26
yeah okay so do you want to be a monkey
3:30
or do you want to be like um
3:34
a bear you could be a squirrel you could
3:37
be a frog
3:39
you could be uh even an ocean animal you
3:42
could be a mer boy or a mermaid
3:44
any of those different um characters
3:47
that you want to be
3:48
you pick okay and now we're going to
3:51
start
3:52
our big movement so whatever character
3:54
you are you're going to be
3:56
that animal or be that person now for me
4:00
it's going to be a horse
4:03
that's right and my horse's name is
4:06
uma uma actually means horse in japanese
4:09
uh-huh so i'm going to show me your
4:13
animals whatever your animals are
4:15
mine is going to be the horse so i'm
4:16
going to balance up on one foot
4:19
that's right and
4:25
very good now i'm going to do the other
4:27
side if you have a bear you're going to
4:29
be doing a balancing bear
4:31
if you have a mermaid well a mermaid
4:33
only has one fin
4:34
so you have to figure that one out maybe
4:38
the mermaid becomes a girl for a moment
4:41
or the mer boy becomes a boy for a
4:43
moment
4:44
or whatever you want so now we're going
4:47
to be
4:48
balancing animals and balancing people
4:50
and i'm the horse so i'm balancing and
4:56
very good you might want to be a horse
4:57
with me too because it's super fun
5:00
all right that's our balancing movement
5:02
and now we're going to
5:03
open our legs really wide and if i was a
5:07
horse
5:08
which of course i am a horse and i'm
5:10
going to go
5:12
and running
5:16
go all the way around and sometimes the
5:19
horses like to do or the animals
5:21
whatever animal you are they like to do
5:23
special steps
5:26
which go crisscross crisscross okay so
5:30
i'm gonna
5:30
open and i'm crossing my foot over the
5:34
front
5:34
and i'm gonna open and i'm gonna cross
5:36
my foot to the back
5:38
aha we have something for every age and
5:41
cross front cross back now we're going
5:44
to go a little bit faster
5:48
okay all right and now we're going to
5:51
paint the rainbow so whoever whatever
5:53
animal you are
5:54
make your legs go really wide whoa whoa
5:56
whoa stop oh that's too much
6:00
that's too little oh that's too much
6:05
just right
6:07
all right i'm going to bend my knees
6:09
that's right
6:10
my knees and if i go all the way down
6:14
now i am like a frog
6:17
and my frog sees a lot
6:21
of paint all over the floor
6:24
all different colors of paint i'm going
6:26
to grab some pink
6:28
and some brown i'm going to grab some
6:30
yellow
6:31
i'm going to grab some green and purple
6:33
and i have all the paint
6:35
all over my hands and now i'm going to
6:37
reach up
6:39
show me big big big big rainbow paint
6:42
the rainbow in the sky
6:44
and all the way back down now we're
6:45
going to go and get a lot of different
6:47
colors
6:48
and show me paint really really big all
6:50
the way stretch them as high as you can
6:52
and see that beautiful rainbow even the
6:55
birds are saying
6:56
hey good for you and they're flying over
6:59
your rainbow
7:00
now let's go ahead and sit back down
7:04
or sit down to begin with at all
7:07
my legs are very far apart because i
7:10
think i'm going to
7:13
make something here in the middle not
7:16
sure what it is yet i still see a lot of
7:18
rainbow colors
7:19
but how we always start our keto kids
7:22
yoga class
7:23
is with our opening rhyme yeah
7:27
in keto kids yoga we have yoga rhymes so
7:29
i'm going to put one foot on the bottom
7:32
and one foot on top clap my
7:35
hands and then i stop
7:39
so in just a very short time we can have
7:41
a lot of fun so let's keep going
7:44
the very first rhyme which you guys know
7:47
by now of course
7:49
we say this is our roof
7:52
keeps us cool in the shade
7:56
bring hands together this house is
8:00
homemade
8:01
and then we bow to say hello to each
8:03
other
8:04
little one or if it's a big one we're
8:06
gonna reach our hands all the way out
8:09
oh so much good stretching that says
8:11
wake up body
8:13
now show me your rocks rock a rock
8:16
show me your two fists i say they're
8:18
rocks okay
8:19
rock rock i have two rocks
8:23
but i know how to be gentle
8:27
all right and now i'm going to get my
8:30
rocks and do a little massage on my
8:31
shoulder
8:32
massage on my shoulder oh we always do
8:34
something different in our keto kids
8:36
yoga class
8:38
and remember with those gentle rocks you
8:41
can
8:41
be very kind to yourself
8:45
kind to your parents and your family and
8:47
kind to your friends
8:49
that is a beautiful wish for today
8:52
all right so now we're going to continue
8:56
with our story
8:58
this story goes together with movement
9:04
and therefore you can listen and you can
9:07
follow me and copy what i do okay
9:09
you promise all right here we go so
9:12
once upon a time there was the monkey
9:18
and the snakes
9:22
the monkey's name was nana that rhymes
9:25
with banana
9:27
and the snake's name was sarita
9:31
they were really good friends and they
9:34
went on an adventure
9:36
which you might remember from the other
9:38
weeks and they went
9:40
all the way sailing sailing sailing and
9:43
they were in their boats and
9:44
rowing rowing rowing and everybody went
9:47
all the way to find
9:49
some treasure yeah so we're rowing
9:52
rowing rowing
9:54
and they found the treasure past
9:57
the beautiful dolphin they
10:01
found the treasure past the rainbow
10:03
silverfish they found the treasure
10:05
all the way over way over do you see
10:10
it's the sea lion and the sea lion
10:13
named juanito did have the treasure for
10:17
them
10:18
thanks juanito can you say thank you for
10:20
the treasure and now
10:21
they are going back saying goodbye to
10:24
the dolphin
10:25
and going back and going back and saying
10:28
goodbye to the rainbow silverfish
10:30
and all the way back to where they
10:33
started out
10:35
this is the very end of a long story
10:37
that we've been telling for
10:39
four weeks now and the very end of the
10:42
story is a really fun part too because
10:45
they went back to the bus
10:49
so it was a boat ride that went back to
10:52
the bus and that's going to
10:53
take them back home yeah a lot of fun
10:56
traveling actually and so let's do a
11:00
little bit more yoga rhymes while we're
11:02
telling our story
11:03
so we're looking around because we're
11:05
looking for somebody who's named the
11:07
pelican king
11:09
and while we're looking around let's get
11:10
some glue we're going to get some glue
11:13
and we're going to fly over land
11:15
and we're going to stick our hands flat
11:17
to one side of our body
11:19
and we're going to sit up straight now
11:21
my hands are stuck i can't move them
11:23
you have to stay and twist your body all
11:26
the way around to the back
11:28
now we're going to count one count with
11:30
me
11:31
two stretching stretching three and
11:35
unstick your hands fly away we're still
11:37
looking
11:38
for the pelican king and stick your
11:41
hands flat to the other side
11:43
and twist your body sit up tall twist
11:46
your body all the way around let's count
11:48
again count together with me one
11:50
two three and stick your hands and
11:54
fly back to the front here and well
11:57
i see yes pelican king the pelican king
12:01
is saluting me
12:02
with his wing and who is on his head
12:07
oh my goodness it's the seagull show me
12:10
your seagull arms
12:11
yes that's right and now we're going to
12:13
stand up because we have to go
12:15
find the pelican king and tell him that
12:18
we got our treasure so
12:19
squat and put your hands all the way
12:22
through
12:23
raise your seat up like how we always
12:25
always do
12:27
and then bend your knees and fly up
12:30
up up to the pelican king all the way
12:32
fly up
12:34
ah here we are and the pelican king
12:38
again says hello hello and this is the
12:40
salute of the pelican king
12:42
aha and the seagull says like that
12:45
and nana the monkey
12:49
and whatever animal that you bring to
12:51
this story because you're part of this
12:53
story too yeah
12:54
and of course my horse
12:57
[Music]
12:58
everybody's together and we're telling
13:01
the pelican king that we
13:03
found this amazing treasure from juanito
13:06
the sea lion all of these characters are
13:10
in my little story
13:11
and the story is called the ocean
13:13
treasure hunt but it's
13:14
not over yet we still have a little bit
13:18
of the story left to go the very last
13:21
so now everybody's going to get on the
13:23
bus
13:24
and the bus driver
13:28
is right here so we're going to get on
13:31
the bus
13:31
now who's going to get on the bus you're
13:34
going to need to pay to get on the bus
13:36
so you're going to give me
13:38
your coins put in my hand okay thanks
13:42
and get on back and we're going to go
13:44
together ready
13:48
who's on the bus oh everybody got on
13:51
none of the monkey got on sarita the
13:53
snake got on
13:54
there was let's see the squirrel mama
13:57
frog is on there
13:59
oh lots of friends are are there even
14:02
old grandfather fox oh yeah they're all
14:04
on the bus
14:05
everybody's on and here we go put on
14:07
your seat belts
14:11
but this bus it is a very bumpy bumpy
14:15
bus ride so we're going to go down
14:17
and up down and up
14:20
come with me down and up whoa up on your
14:23
tippy toes yes us
14:25
up on the hill all the way up the hill
14:26
and june down the other side
14:31
and now stop
14:34
because the friends are going to get off
14:37
and go to their home
14:39
so say bye bye to the little brother
14:41
squirrel
14:42
and bye bye mama frog and let's keep
14:44
going
14:46
up and down up and down
14:50
there we go are you doing it you jump on
14:52
your tippy toes up on your tippy toes
14:54
and down down down down down
14:56
and now some more people are going to
14:59
get off the bus
15:00
and go to their home so say goodbye to
15:04
uh let's see who else was on the bus
15:06
there was uh
15:07
nana and sarita bye bye and then the bus
15:11
keeps going
15:14
oh all the wish
15:17
and now walk back
15:22
to their beautiful little home
15:26
and they're going to lie down so let's
15:28
lie down
15:30
and close your eyes
15:34
[Music]
15:36
and nana and salita are dreaming they're
15:38
dreaming
15:40
about the ocean and the ocean
15:43
is making them go back and forth like
15:46
this because when you're on a boat you
15:48
know the boat is waving back and forth
15:50
in the water
15:52
yeah just like when you're in a swimming
15:53
pool or
15:55
out on a lake or in a kayak on the river
15:59
or whatever fun water play that you have
16:02
in the summertime
16:03
and they were sleeping and dreaming
16:06
about all of those things
16:09
and so let's come back to our crisscross
16:11
applesauce
16:12
all right and we're going to finish up
16:14
our class remember one foot on the
16:16
bottom
16:17
and one foot on top clap
16:21
our hands and now we stop
16:25
so here we're going to finish up our
16:28
class
16:29
with some beautiful deep breathing now
16:31
remember at the
16:32
very beginning what did we do we
16:34
breathed in really deep
16:36
thinking about all the things that we
16:39
did not want and then we blew them out
16:41
remember
16:42
and then the wind came and blew them
16:44
away do you remember that part
16:46
okay so now at the end of our class
16:49
we're going to breathe in really deeply
16:50
and think about all those things that
16:52
you
16:52
love the beautiful people you love
16:56
breathe in the beautiful food you love
17:00
breathe in and smell it and all of those
17:03
wonderful things
17:04
more big air beginner and now let's blow
17:07
out
17:08
all of the gifts to our friends and
17:11
family
17:13
yeah and every time when you're thinking
17:17
about it
17:18
even if you're not with me you're
17:19
breathing in you're thinking about those
17:21
amazing things that you love
17:24
and then you're breathing out to gift
17:27
those
17:28
also those wonderful feelings to your
17:30
friends okay
17:31
and your family wow we always finish
17:34
our keto kids yoga class is with the
17:37
last
17:38
yoga rhyme it's a rhyme because
17:42
words run and we're moving at the same
17:44
time
17:46
so when you breathe in
17:50
just remember
17:54
how thankful you are and how thankful
17:57
i'm thinking i am for you
17:59
okay here's our last yoga rhyme we say
18:02
what a beautiful house
18:04
because this is my house here so full of
18:08
sun
18:10
bring hands together this house
18:14
is fun namaste
18:16
[Music]
18:19
thank you heather that was beautiful
18:22
thank you thank you thank you so much
18:24
you know um as we always say we invite
18:27
our friends to go over to once upon a
18:29
storytime dot live and pick up the free
18:32
download
18:32
i know you have a problem here if you
18:34
want to pick it up and show everyone
18:38
and when you're gonna pick yours up just
18:40
so they can see it
18:41
that's right i'm going to show you guys
18:43
everything that we talked about today in
18:45
our class
18:46
look let's see if we can see we see the
18:49
house oops we see the house
18:52
and there's the bus and there's the
18:54
pelican king
18:56
aha and the seagull on his head and the
18:59
boat
19:00
and they went and saw the silver rainbow
19:02
fish the dolphin
19:04
and juanito the sea lion and then they
19:07
came
